Welcome to Volunteer Centre Lowestoft.

The aim of Volunteer Centre, Lowestoft is to promote the benefits of volunteering as a valued and valuable service and to enable people to share their time and energy for the benefit of the community. There are many ways to get involved: volunteers contribute to all aspects of community life.

A variety of exciting volunteering opportunities exist in Lowestoft, Beccles and throughout the Waveney area.

Volunteer Centre, Lowestoft:

·         Supports and monitors volunteers on a regular basis, staying in contact with all new volunteers and providing support to each volunteer prior to and during the placement

·         Provides induction training

·         Supports organisations that are involved with volunteers by contacting existing placement organisations to increase the number of volunteering opportunities available to new recruits.

We are open Monday to Thursday 9.00 am until 2.00 pm

We also offer a satellite service in Beccles Town Hall on the first Wednesday in the month from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm. We welcome anyone interested in volunteering to come in and see us to find out about volunteering opportunities.
