Volunteer Centre Framlingham & District

Welcome to Volunteer Centre Framlingham & District.

The aim of Volunteer Centre Framlingham & District is to promote and develop volunteering in the west and north of the Suffolk Coastal district by giving information and advice about volunteering in response to enquiries from individuals, voluntary organisations, community groups and statutory agencies and similarly to respond to requests for volunteer help from these individuals and groups.

The Volunteer Centre moved to its current premises at 10a, Riverside, (next to the Town Council) in 2007. The Centre is very much at the heart of the community and offers many services.

  • A Community Car Service offering transport for medical appointments, social and personal business commitments.
  • Befriending for those who are lonely or isolated.
  • A Furniture Recycling Project which collects unwanted furniture and household goods and redistributes items to those in need.
  • Volunteers are recruited and matched with organisations, people or groups who need help in many ways.
  • The centre also has information on groups and activities taking place in and around the Town.
  • Citizens Advice use the office on Friday mornings and Disability Advice on the first Tuesday of the month.

If you would like more information on our activities, would like to become a volunteer or need our help
